DYSU Guest Designer Spot - THANKS CHALLENGE

Hi everyone

well todays the day I take the guest Designer spot over at the 'DO YOU STACK UP Challenge blog' Their Sponsers this week are ' BROKEN BOX STOCK'  and the Challenge is to make a 'THANK YOU' Project, so why not pop over and join in the fun and you may be lucky enough to win some fabulous digi images or even a your own guest spot on DO YOU STACK UP!! Here's my inspiration for their blog, it's a Stepper card using a Broken Box Stock image called 'Surpise Toodles' This image can be found on their website if you would like to buy it and make your own work of art


I used my Spectrum Noirs and Promarkers to colour the image and then I cut them out on a piece of white square card.

I used Spellbinders Decorative Elements Labels 8 to mount my coloured image onto and used A 'Thank you' Stamp and a 'Friendship' Stamp as Sentiments and the verse on the right hand side is from the Stamp Barn and read's

Friendship's a flower for all seasons,
it never will fade away
lasting with a loyalty growing
bringing a joy to each day.
friendships a gift to be given
for then you'll find its true
by passing it round, there's a promise
very soon it will come back to you.

The little envelopes at the front of the stepper card were made with a woodware punch and filled with card candies!! The patterned blue paper was from http://www.cupcakecrafting.co.uk/

I hope you like my inspiration and it prompts you to go off and create something clever or pretty or just fun that's the most important element in any crafting is that you have fun doing it.

I can't believe its just 48 hours before December , wow!! that was the fastest year ever , I 'm still waiting for the summer to start!! Only 34 days left to 2013!! its been a good year this year for me , my first year in blogger - land , my first year on a design team. 9 months ago I didn't even know what a Design team was or did, now I'm on 3, guesting on others and winning Challenges every month how cool is that, so if you're out there thinking I couldn't do that, blog and DT, dont believe it, why not give it a try, I never thought I would get here or have so much fun on the journey xx Cant wait to see what next year has in store...
