Angelica Tissue box cover Project

Well the Crafters Companion 'Crafters Inspiration' Magazine is now on sale with over 100 different projects inside and £50 worth of free gifts so look out for it in all the big retail shops ,  Here's one of the projects I did for it on how to make a tissue box,  I have used the images from the free CD that comes with the magazine but you could put any decoupage that you wanted on it to decorate it if you fancied making your own

Images from free CD
4 A4 Sheets of Pastel Lemon Centura Pearl card
Enchanted Spring Die cuts
Collall glue
Darice Circle pattern folder
Silver mirror card
Small yellow gems
Flower gems
Lemon and white lace
Silver glitter glue

Computer and printer
Die-cutting and embossing machine
Diesire Enchanted Spring die

How to Create
1:  Cut 2 x 5” and 1/8  by  9” and 1/2 pieces of lemon centura pearl cardstock, score a fold at 1/2'' and then again at 5''

2:  Glue skinny flap of 1st rectangle to solid end of 2nd  rectangle to other end to create box

3: Cut lid 6” 9/16 Square. Score 1” along each side, crease  then cut small wedge from corners and Aperture in centre

4:  Glue corners to form top of tissue box , glue to top of box shape

5:  Cut 4  4”1/4  x 4” squares from the lemon Centura pearl card , cut apertures in centre with Die’sire enchanted Spring die then emboss with Darice circles embossing folder, then decorate with your silver glitter glue  When they are dry, place Angelica decoupage Images behind aperture and glue to sides of box

7:  Cut out your top using your Die’sire Enchanted Spring die and some lemon Centura pearl card and silver mirror cardstock then glue together and then glue onto of tissue box

8: Finish by decorating box and lid with ribbon and gems

If you wish to give this as a gift why not make a card to match
